Our Staff
Our staff is made up of former professional and collegiate players who bring years of experience and a shared passion for teaching the game. Coaches work together with a unified philosophy focused on development, accountability, and enjoyment. With diverse playing backgrounds and proven expertise, our team provides well-rounded guidance for every athlete.

Charlie Tilson
Charlie is a former Major League outfielder who played 11 professional seasons with the Cardinals, White Sox, Pirates, and Phillies. A second-round draft pick out of New Trier High School, he made his MLB debut with the Chicago White Sox in 2016. Tilson posted a .288 career batting average, stole more than 150 bases and was named the top defensive outfielder in the Cardinals organization by Baseball America.

Brian Schlitter
A Chicago-area native and Maine South High School alum, Schlitter began his professional journey after being drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2007. He played in the MLB for the Chicago Cubs and Oakland Athletics. Schlitter’s career also includes international experience with Japan’s Saitama Seibu Lions.

Ryan Lidge
Ryan Lidge is a Barrington native. He was a standout catcher at Notre Dame, where he was named the Johnny Bench Award Watch List twice, and was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 20th round of the 2017 MLB Draft. In 2022, he was named an American Association All-Star with the Chicago Dogs where he hit .322 with 12 HRs and 80 RBIs. Known for his leadership, mental toughness, and competitiveness, Lidge now serves as a mental performance coach with ZoneCoach®, where he helps athletes develop confidence, focus, and a championship mindset.

Andrew Touhy
Andrew Touhy is a former Denison University standout, All-Conference selection, and team captain who brings that same drive to Crosstown Baseball. A Wilmette native and Loyola Academy alumnus, Andrew has a deep passion for teaching hitting, working closely with young athletes to understand & sharpen their swing and build the confidence to perform at the plate.

Christian Friedrich
Christian is a former Major League pitcher who played for the Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres. A first-round draft pick in 2008, he recorded over 200 strikeouts in his MLB career and later played professionally in Korea.

John Calarco
John is a Hall of Fame player at St. Patrick High School and played professionally in the Pioneer League. He has spent his life around the game as a player, coach, and parent.

Anthony Calarco
Anthony is a Northwestern standout and First Team All-Big Ten selection. He transferred to Ole Miss and later signed with the Texas Rangers. He currently plays professionally with the Schaumburg Boomers.

Alex Calarco
Alex played at Northwestern and the University of Maryland, where he became one of the team’s top offensive contributors. He hit 19 home runs with a 1.044 OPS in 2025.

Tony Livermore
Tony is an infielder at Northwestern known for his strong defensive play, posting a .980 fielding percentage. He was a multi-sport captain at Mount Carmel High School.
